With the iconic butterfly handle, this cup and saucer set is a beautiful set that is quite rare. This is considered art deco and was made in the 1930s by Aynsley in England. The 'Tulip' shape of the porcelain was introduced in October 1931. These are hand-painted. Queen Mary favoured the design. They are all marked with registration numbers. Tea cup 5.5 cm x 10 cm, Saucer 13,5 cm, Sugar bowl 7,5 x 5 cm, Cake plate 12,5 cm. There are some chips on the butterfly handle. Check images carefully.
