I call these pebble bowls because they look like pretty porcelain, white pebbles with little gold accents. They are great to group together with nothing in them as décor, or add some mints, chocolates or knick-knacks in them if they need to be useful. Krister Porzellan-Manufaktur was established in 1831 by Carl Franz Krister using the mark KPM, which is often confused with the royal Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur, a companystarted by Frederick the Great in 1763. The mark on these suggests that they were made between 1952 and 1965. KPM was used by Waldenburg factory, a legal successor operating in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. Large 12 x 9 cm, Medium 9 x 6 cm, Small 8 x 5.5 cm.
