This is a hammered silver-plated tea and coffee set with wooden handles, likely dating back to the Art Deco period of the 1930s. The set includes a tray, a coffee pot, a teapot, a sugar bowl, and a creamer. (An Extra coffee pot is included.) The hammered texture and wood handles are characteristic of the Art Deco style, which emphasised geometric shapes, smooth lines, and the combination of different materials. The base metal is likely brass with a layer of silver, and the handles are made of wood, possibly Macassar wood.
