The solid base of this diamond cut ship's decanter was specifically designed to have a low centre of gravity to keep it stable in heavy seas. It is also sometimes called the 'Rodney' decanter named after the British Royal Naval Officer Admiral George Rodney who was a big name at the end of the 18th century. This decanter is 30 x 18 cm.
