After the global success of the Chef in the 1950s, the change in fashion and trends called for a makeover. The Redesign in 1962 for the Chef was the A701A with an enhanced motor, gearbox and belt drive, plus a new modern look (for the sixties). This vintage piece has original features like the glass bowl and the K-beater and the best thing is, after 63 years, it still works! It's the same age as I am, and probably works better! There is some age related wear, see images for more.
