Picquot ware made from 1947 to 1980 was made of a magnesium-aluminium alloy that they named 'Magnalium'. It was made by Burrage & Boyde, in Northampton, England. The handles of the teapots, coffee pots and kettles are made of the wood of sycamore trees. The pieces are mostly cast as a single piece, and the solid construction is efficient at retaining heat. It does need a decent professional polish. Tray 27.5 x 40 x 4,5, Coffee Pot 18 x 9 x 19, Teapot 25 x 12 x 15, Sugar 9.5 x 8.5 x 8.5 cm, Milk Jug 13 x 7.5 x 11 cm.
