Made in Hong Kong with a rose pattern, this scuttle or scoop was popular in Victorian times for serving sugar cubes or granulated sugar at the table. Shaped like a coal scuttle, this style was popular in the mid-19th century. They were made well into the 20th century. This one was probably made in the mid-century. 13 x 9 x 15 cm.
